This Paid Social Manager role has popped up with a small full-service social media agency based on the 'Finnieston Strip' that is embarking on a period of growth. You can be based anywhere, as long as you are able to make it into the office for meetings here and there.

The agency focuses on creating in managing social-first content across various agencies, but specializing in FMCG and F&B.  There Is a team of passionate in-house photographers, videographers, strategists, creatives, graphic designers, copywriters, and social media specialists, who you will collaborate with.


 

The Role: 
 

As Paid Social Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving strategic, e-commerce paid social campaigns.

You’ll be responsible for the management and success of paid social media accounts and be in direct contact with clients – from both an account management and paid social media specialist perspective.

You’ll create paid strategy, manage social advertising platforms, manage client’s budgets, and generate revenue for clients through various social media platforms.

You’ll report directly to the Senior Management Team on the progress and success of clients and be responsible for directing and developing junior staff members.

 

  • Creating and understanding client objectives and design paid strategy to achieve them.
  • Be responsible for development, management and optimisation of all paid media programs such as paid social campaigns and paid search.
  • Clearly communicate performance and uncover growth levers, effectively documenting strategies and approach, to drive common understanding and efficiency.
  • Work closely with the creative teams to recommend effective content strategies and budget for campaigns
  • Work closely with the wider Social Management Team to input on Social Media strategy for clients.
  • Utilise reporting to run campaign analysis and provide recommendations, driving growth through testing and analysis.
  • Clearly communicate performance and uncover growth levers, effectively documenting strategies and approach, to drive common understanding and efficiency.
  • Measure and analyse the effectiveness and ROI/ROAS of all paid activities.
  • Generate Weekly and Monthly client reporting.
  • Educate other staff on paid media and promote it’s purpose.
  • Be a source of trusted account management and project management for clients.
  • Report directly to Senior Management on all client performance & satisfaction rate.
  • Assist in business development, new client onboarding & strategy.
  • Report client budgets / spend directly to Senior Management.

Experience

  • 4+ years experience with a track record of delivering success in a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of Social Media landscape. Experience using Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Tiktok, YouTube and PPC platforms is essential.
  • Experience leveraging other social platforms such as Reddit would be a bonus.
  • Highly numerate and comfortable using reporting to run campaign analysis and provide recommendations with demonstrable experience driving growth through testing and analysis.
  • Proven experience with Direct Response paid social campaigns with experience with attribution, conversion tracking, and optimising towards strict KPI goals.
  • Strong appreciation of the marketing funnel, and the relationship with specific tactics.
  • A creative problem solver at heart, interested in working in a fast-paced environment, with excellent troubleshooting and Q&A skills - strong attention to detail essential.
  • Proven self-organisation and prioritisation skills - Ability to multi-task with effective resolution management in a fast-paced, growing environment.
  • Effective communication skills and experience working within a fast-paced team.
  • Must be a self-starter who is comfortable working autonomously on campaigns and other relevant projects.
  • Experience working on PPC/search campaigns across Bing (not essential but a big plus!).
