Nine Twenty are delighted to be recruiting a NPI Project Launch Engineer to join a hugely successful Global FMCG business based in East Ayrshire on a full-time permanent basis.
You will be responsible for improving business profitability through effective Project Management of New Product Introductions from the developed product stage developed product stage, through to the fully signed off & stable production process stage. The role will be a pivotal control in assuring the design for manufacture criteria are fulfilled before production accept a product, by assuring Phase Gate ‘4’ completion via follow through on development actions.
Key responsibilities:
- Support successful programme/project launches
- Project manage the launch of new products
- Deliver customer excellence
- Liaise with a range of departments & internal stakeholders and updating of status
- Management of supply chain technical/engineering and quality concerns
- Use Advanced Product Quality Planning APQP
Skills required:
- Degree qualified or equivalent experience in manufacturing, engineering or a related discipline
- Experienced of Project Management and Product Launch
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of continuous improvement such as lean manufacturing or 5S
