We are proudly supporting our Global manufacturing client with this truly exciting opportunity to join their organisation as an NPD Packaging Technical Specialist. You will be part of the Global Technical Team to provide technical solutions for their evolving & award winning brands whilst making suggestions & ideas to improve their Packaging processes within Print & Paper. You will manage technical specifications ensuring components are fit for purpose. You will build & have detailed knowledge of their brands. You will ideally have experience working in an FMCG business and bring with you a strong continuous improvement mindset whilst emphasising on a 'Man/Machine/Materials Interfaces' within their manufacturing processes.
The key to this role is building long term working relationships with their suppliers and operations team, managing projects or processes from start to finish.
Skills required:

You will come from a print and paper specialist background

Experienced within an NPD Packaging environment within the drinks industry would be ideal

Experience developing component specifications, quality requirements & manufacturing specifications would be ideal
- Experienced conducting rigorous prototype testing including transit testing

Someone who can openly challenge the “norm” and provide technical solutions, as well as being self-motivated to driving change
