Location: East Kilbride offices, Working from Home model.

Contract: Full time, permanent.

 

If you’re a highly creative Media Buyer/Planner with experience in leading and driving a media team, we may have the role you’ve been looking for. You would be joining an exciting and fast-paced advertisement agency, working with big brands and popular influencers. The agency specialises in audio production, CG visualisation, experiential film, and social media marketing.

The agency owns multiple studios which each operate within their own expertise and markets. You will be supporting each, keeping your work diverse and interesting. 

 

About the Role

As Media Buyer/Planner, you would be stepping into a dynamic workforce and be responsible for building an advertising network through identification of potential new partners within the premium mass value market. You will be creating and building strong advertising campaigns to maximise profitability for your brands. Ideally, you will be compliant, transparent and have strong organisational skills. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Delivering sales growth through TV, Print and Programmatic Video/Display channels specifically. Additional support with other internal teams in the development of organic, social, PPC and other digital channels.
  • Manage and oversee conversion rate optimisation for campaigns and landing pages
  • Working with the media agency, conduct research and surveys to determine the audience demographics and creative strategies.
  • Increase operational efficiency by applying automation where possible.
  • Working with the media team, create innovative growth strategies and develop in-house training initiatives for achievement of commercial results.
  • Apply high organisational skills to manage accounts, as well as providing accurate reporting on the overall performance of marketing campaigns.
  •  Research and identify potential expansion opportunities.
  • Consult on media plans to ensure the right media is selected. Book media directly with publishers and negotiate terms.
  • Track all activity and ensure campaigns are reaching their target KPIs.
  • Continuously improve performance by liaising with suppliers.
  • Act as a representative of the company brand while continuously building relationships with clients.

 

Requirements

  • 2-3 Years’ experience within a media buying or media strategy role.
  • Strong understanding of media buying with knowledge of placement principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Marketing or Business-related degree.
  • Experience building relationships and negotiating with publishers.
  • Excel, analysis, or programming skills.
  • Strong Search Engine Marketing (SEM) experience.
  • Analytical and research skills which can be applied to campaign evaluation.
  • Strong team player with good attention to detail. Exceptional writing and creative content creation skills.
  • A good understanding of Google Analytics.

 

Advantageous

  • Budget management, project management, strategy development, forecasting and ROI calculation.
  • Experience in Google Ads, Adwords, Display and YouTube.
