Nine Twenty Engineering are looking for a mechanically biased engineer to join their processing plant in Edinburgh due to continued growth.
The Person:
The ideal candidate will have a recognised industry qualification in mechanical engineering and have experience in a predominantly mechanical role. Ideally you will have worked in a multi-skilled maintenance role preferably gained in a heavy engineering / process environment. In addition, you will have a working knowledge of mechanical maintenance engineering, but the main focus of the role is electrical. You should be able to communicate effectively be self-motivated and able to work to pace.
The Role:
This is a challenging and demanding role providing mechanical maintenance engineering support within a high-volume manufacturing organisation. You will have a varied role and your duties and responsibilities will include maintaining a wide range of production equipment, general mechanical maintenance and assist in machine installation. You will also be required to maintain health and safety standards as well as maintaining high standards required in this environment.
This is a dayshift role
- HNC Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Time- served
- Process / Heavy Engineering Exp
- Be a strong team player who can also work on own initiative
