Mechanical Fitter - Glasgow -
An unusual and exciting opportunity for a mechanical fitter to join an established but growing family engineering business who offer diverse products and services to their credible client base.
This is a multi-skilled role where basic machining, welding and fabrication will be part of your role but full training will be given to allow you to become multi-skilled.
Purpose of the role:
- The main purpose of the role is the delivery of all manufacturing outputs within all time constraints.
- Delivery of manufacturing parts ensuring all are delivered on time.
- Working with manufacturing team to ensure flexibility & Quality.
- Pro-active regarding continuous improvement & activity that reduces 'waste' across the business
- Working to all Health, Safety and Environmental standards
Qualifications/ Experience Required
- ONC/HNC in Mechanical Engineering & 5 Years in Similar Environment
- Time-served Engineer
- Competent in the use of manual lathes and mills
- Mechanical Fitting Background
