A brand-new role has arisen in a leading Scottish retailer and E-commerce business. The business has achieved tremendous growth in the last 3 years, growing 380%, with this growth trajectory expected to continue. The home interiors retailer has a well-established, multi-million-pound e-commerce website that is consistently achieving growth. 

 

The Role:

This role is perfect for an experienced and driven Marketplace Manager to maximize visibility, exposure and revenue on a range of third-party selling platforms. You will be experienced in a wide range of various digital avenues, expanding the current digital offering and in turn work to attract a greater number of customers to the business. With a shift towards digital consumer behaviour in recent years, the Marketplace Manager will be experienced across all forms of online selling platforms and helped to take the Ecommerce team to the next level.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all products are added to each marketplace in line with the marketplace requirements.
  • Maintaining all areas of products in each marketplace.
  • Maximising product descriptions, titles & USP’s.
  • Ensuring each marketplace is categorised in the best way possible to maximise visibility and sales.
  • Ensuring new ranges and product launches run smoothly liaising with buying and marketing teams.
  • Working with spreadsheets to upload product to digital channels.
  • Checking all products link to the stock management system.
  • Bug reporting to developers and testing of subsequent fixes.
  • Liaising with suppliers to obtain up to date product information and updates.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience in working with and growing online marketplaces.
  • Experience in maximising online marketplaces.
  • Experience in working with Website CMS or data uploads into websites.
  • Experience of working in a retail orientated ecommerce environment.
  • Ability to work with data and specifically Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in liaising with multiple departments within a company.
