A brand new role has arisen with a "Sunday Times Top 100 company to work for" retail business, the fastest growing of their kind in Scotland. This new role will be for a Marketing Executive who will lead on all things marketing for their brands within the dynamic in-house creative agency. This is the chance to work for a highly established and growing business, with great progression on offer.

 

 

The Role:

 

As a Marketing Executive, you will have a solid understanding of marketing in a retail/FMCG or other fast-paced consumer-focused industry. It is essential that you have circa 2 years of experience in a similar environment. Every individual within this ambitious and passionate marketing team is committed to promoting creative and cost-efficient growth in a highly competitive and exciting marketplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Meeting & Consulting with key internal stakeholders at sites to discuss campaign requirements and objectives.
  • Formulating marketing strategies for your brands, creating a media schedule to support those strategies, and delivering the required business results.
  • Building relationships with the local community, businesses and attending events in the local area to help drive key activities to assist the growth of the business.
  • Develop timely briefs for the creative team that will accurately and effectively meet the requirements of the marketing campaign and commercial objectives.
  • Working with the team at site to provide relevant information to the creative and digital teams.
  • Reviewing and analysing local marketing from competitors.
  • Budgetary management for the relevant account ensuring all activity comes in on time and on budget meeting objectives.
  • Chair monthly marketing meetings with your brands and the Head of Marketing.
  • Undertake manufacturer and trading standards assessments at all sites.
  • Oversee daily marketing activity ensuring total accuracy and legal compliance.
  • Analysis & reporting of marketing performance to advise of required changes to marketing activity.
  • Producing the weekly marketing pack for sites and running through with the Head of Marketing and Managing Partner at site.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of marketing experience.
  • Experience working in a similar position.
  • Able to demonstrate a solid understanding of marketing channels.
  • Understanding of budgets and sales performance reports.
  • Passionate about marketing and open to self-learning.
  • Entrepreneurial mind-set.
  • Strong Verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
