A brand new role has arisen in a leading Scottish retailer and Ecommerce business. The business has achieved tremendous growth in the last 3 years, growing 380%, with this growth trajectory expected to continue.

 

The Role:

A Marketing Executive role has become available in a market-leading business to takes pride in creating strong and long-lasting digital relationships with its customer through the use of email and content marketing. This Marketer will be able to segment and maximize customer engagement and value to take current marketing practices to the next level within a period of steep growth and expansion. With an accelerated shift towards digital consumer behavior in recent years, this individual will be deeply experienced in all aspects of email marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Creating B2C and B2B content across numerous platforms such as social, blogs.
  • Updating and creating content for the ecommerce website.
  • Monitoring content through the use of marketing data in order to improve future performance.
  • Designing and managing regular B2C & B2B email marketing campaigns, responsible for the end-to-end process.
  • Target customers effectively and creatively by using demographic, personal, and behavioral data.
  • Carrying out segmentation of the database and implementing personalized remarketing strategies.
  • Ensuring all email campaigns comply with current email best practices in the industry.
  • Closely monitoring email segments, continuously track KPIs to identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and reduce churn.
  • Provide reports, insight, and recommendations on email performance to guide improvement.

Requirements:

  • You will be commercially minded and driven, as well as highly analytical with the ability to translate data into actionable insight.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy when working with data.
  • Excellent written communication, copywriting, and proofreading skills.
  • Understanding of digital marketing and its impact on the marketing funnel.
  • Ability to segment data based on similarities.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience with email marketing software.
  • Proven experience within a similar role in a product-based B2C & B2B environment at an agency or client-side.
  • Strategic planner with end-to-end approach with email marketing.
  • Experience in nurturing and growing email databases.
  • A Can-Do attitude.
