Nine Twenty are proud to be supporting CeeD as they move into the next phase in their growth journey and have 2 key vacancies to fill within their fast paced team.

The Centre for Engineering Education & Development (CeeD) is a not-for-profit organisation that brings business, industry and academia together for a mutual exchange of knowledge, experience and expertise to bring about tangible improvements to business operations.

The pedigree of CeeD is very high with its inception 14 years ago and having built a reputation for an industry led Peer to Peer best practice sharing model that is about practical and actionable learning and cover a wide range of topics such as Lean Manufacturing, Performance Measurement and Management, Innovation, Process Excellence, Health & Safety, HR, Inter Company Training, Procurement and Supply Chain, Aerospace and Defence, Energy, Leadership, Project Management and the Environment.

Delivery is pan-Scotland with over 400 organisations regularly participating in CeeD events and workshops and a strong base of 200 Sponsoring & Standard members at the core.

Out with the thematic workshops and 1-2-1 membership support CeeD has a highly respected management and people development programme, Growth500 a programme that focuses on the ‘how’, not the ‘why’ and so delivers the very practical information needed to develop your own company’s growth plans and to then deliver that growth.  We call this our non-accredited, 8-day practical “mini-MBA” without all the reading, homework or weekends away. We have just started to pivot some of this into Growth5.0 (our digital solution for today’s social distancing and also our Leadership Development Programme “Leading from the Front” , aimed at more senior leaders in our membership.

Not content with the meeting the successful challenge of completely pivoting the business for now, to be fully digital in its delivery and support for members , CeeD have just successfully secure a 3 year contract to deliver the Advancing Manufacture Challenge – Cluster Builder (AMCF-CB)

A programme to connect up an exciting investment from Scottish Government, Scottish Enterprise (SE) and Highlands & Islands Enterprise (HIE) that will bring together a number of new centres of excellence in manufacturing technology and expertise to support Scotland’s SMEs grow, innovate and become more productive.

CeeD are looking to support this additional function by hiring additional experienced staff to manage the programme and ensure that it is drawing on the already well respected core services, thus ensuring a highly value-added leverage opportunity and providing a continued legacy and sustainability of the network of companies and institutions (i.e. Cluster Building).
