As Marketing Director you will plan, develop and implement the marketing, innovation and content strategies. Your will develop brand identity, brand content and campaigns to boost our DTC sales revenues

The company is currently undergoing an active development phase and has strong ambition in the health and wellness category.

Your role and responsibilities include:

  • Build category defining brand by developing incredible brand identity, positioning and brand messaging and become the brand guardian for the company
  • Identify marketing trends and market research needs
  • Create and implement annual marketing plan
  • Create marketing and customer service strategies that will help the organisation meet customer demands
  • Execute marketing campaigns and develop initiatives to enhance the efficiency of marketing and advertising plans
  • Develop the product innovation and claims development roadmap
  • Identify new market and geography to drive long term growth

Main duties:

  • Developing, implementing, and overseeing strategic marketing and advertising campaign
  • Developing brand building strategy and lead the brand development with partnering agencies.
  • Establishing marketing goals and objectives and developing and managing the marketing budget
  • Measuring, reviewing and improving the performance and success of marketing campaigns
  • Collecting data on market trends and customer buying habits to guide marketing efforts
  • Participation in the wider brand team and cross functional partners (e.g. e-com, performance marketing, agencies…), to ensure a cohesion of innovation, comms, design and team strategy
  • Recruiting, training and mentoring the marketing team for developing world class marketing performing team
  • Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organisation-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning

Skills and qualification:

  • CIM/degree qualified
  • Passionate about brand building and the science and analytics of marketing
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • You will have worked for a consumer goods focused business and also be proficient in various business software with the ability to learn new systems
  • A strong team player, you will be comfortable working with people at all levels both strategic and operationally

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Good attention to detail showing logical decision making and prompt delivery to deadline
  • Previous experience of working within a proactive D2C digital marketing role
  • Highly analytical skills and attention to detail with an ability to analyse and interpret data providing insight to aid future decision making and budgeting
  • Robust understanding and experience of all marketing communications channels
  • Time and project management skills to work and deliver on simultaneous projects
  • Curious about technology and innovation for marketing
