Nine Twenty Engineering & Manufacturing are excited to be working with our prestigious drinks client who are on the look out for a Maintenance Standards Expert to join their team on a permanent basis.

This role comes with a high level of responsibility with the implementation of maintenance activities and standards within all Spirit Handling areas across their Global Packaging sites.

You will be responsible to lead and develop overall Maintenance and facility improvement teams across Packaging and Supply chain to ensure delivery of results in line with the overall strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engineering maintenance systems, for all spirit handling areas integrating and applying engineering quality systems including processes, procedures, standards and standardization throughout ongoing projects with particular focus on DSEAR, COMAH and ATEX
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted within applicable legislation and in accordance with agreed company policies, processes and procedures.
  • Take responsibility for the administration of the maintenance system ensuring maintenance records are accurately maintained.
  • Propose new ways of working by keeping abreast of relevant processes and technologies 
  • Support the overall Engineering Projects design function through engineering discipline knowledge and best practice sharing across all sites.
  • Assist the Global Technical Director and Head of Engineering Projects to develop training plans and modules 
  • Assist in developing the five year capital plan by identifying appropriate process or equipment improvement opportunities 
  • Support the delivery of assigned Capital & Special Revenue projects within the agreed scope, budget, time-frame and HSE measures to meet the sanctioned business case and ensuring a strong interface with key Operational stakeholders.

Skills required:

  • Hands on experience in instrumentation controls
  • Working Knowledge of current health and safety/environmental compliance and sound process safety knowledge
  • Working and demonstrable knowledge of SIL, ATEX and DSEAR
  • Degree or equivalent industry experience in Electrical or instrumentation control
