Nine Twenty Engineering are working with a leading producer within the food and drink sector. Due to an exciting period of expansion and restructure they now have opportunities for Electrical Maintenance Engineers to join their team.
The Person:
The ideal candidate will have a recognised industry qualification in electrical engineering and have experience in a predominantly electrical role. Ideally you will have worked in a multi-skilled maintenance role preferably gained in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment. In addition, you will have a working knowledge of mechanical maintenance engineering, but the main focus of the role is electrical. You should be able to communicate effectively be self-motivated and able to work to pace.
The Role:
This is a challenging and demanding role providing electrical maintenance engineering support within a high-volume manufacturing organisation. You will have a varied role and your duties and responsibilities will include maintaining a wide range of production equipment, general mechanical maintenance and assist in machine installation. You will also be required to maintain health and safety standards as well as maintaining high standards required in a food production environment.
- HNC Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 17th Edition (city and guilds)
- Time- served
- Be familiar with PLC’s (fault finding and minor programme changes)
- Be able to commit to a continental shift pattern covering both day/night shifts
- Be a strong team player who can also work on own initiative
