An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Electrical or Mechanical engineer to join my client's team based in Renfrewshire.
This is a dayshift position with the opportunity to work overtime.
Responsibilities:
- Planned and reactive maintenance work
- Looking at small projects to increase efficiencies
- Root cause analysis
- Using planned maintenance systems
- Adhering to health and safety
Skills required:
- Be time served and hold HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- 17th Edition (if electrical)
- Be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- PLC - Fault finding would be beneficial
- Be able to work on own initiative
- Have a can do attitude and have an enthusiasm to do things better
- Be flexible and be able to work overtime as and when required
