We are delighted to be working with a leading Global manufacturing organisation looking for a Multiskilled Engineer with Mechanical bias. You must have a proactive approach as you will be working in a fast paced, innovative and continually growing business. You will conduct engineering operations to maintain efficient operation of all production lines in order to maximize levels of production and control cost to budget. This is a site based role in a small and efficient team so being able to work well as a team as well as own initiative is important. The site produces some well known brands and offers a good working environment as well as an attractive 4 day week to promote that work life balance. Overtime is paid at an enhanced rate also....
Responsibilities:
- Provide mentorship to Operators to meet short and long-term operating objectives.
- In partnership with the Engineers Supervisor completes the engineering schedule to meet targets and maximize production line efficiency.
- Ensures reliability and consistency of engineering operation, engineering quality, governmental compliance, employee safety, and environmental impact.
- Have a strong focus on preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.
- Drive safety initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with quality policies, standards, and systems
Skills required:
- Time served/ Degree qualified engineering discipline
- Experience within an FMCG environment
