Nine Twenty Engineering & Manufacturing are delighted to be supporting our client for the next stage to their Engineering plans with the recruitment of a Maintenance Engineer to join their expanding Engineering Team.

As the Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for the planned, preventative and reactive maintenance of all plant machinery and engineering assets.

The Role:

  • You will be responsible for the delivery of Planned, Preventative & Reactive Maintenance across the site
  • You will ensure continuous & safe operation of plant equipment
  • You will find root cause analysis to machinery failures
  • You will ensure improvement of uptime and prevent future failures
  • You will manage PPM schedules
  • You will take part in continuous improvement across engineering & operations
  • You will update & maintain reports & inventory
  • You will implement ‘best practice’ within the maintenance department
  • You will be responsible for contractor call outs

Skills required:

  • You will be a Multi Skilled Time Served Engineer OR have a HNC or HND in Mechanical Engineering (with some electrical skills)
  • You will have experience working within a Manufacturing environment with strong technical competence and equipment knowledge
  • You will have the autonomy to work on your initiative whilst being able to make decisions without direct supervision
  • You will have strong understanding & knowledge of best practice maintenance processes
  • You will bring excellent communication skills
  • You will be self-motivated with a drive & passion for innovation
