Role: Maintenance Engineer

Nine Twenty Engineering & Manufacturing are excited to partner with a leading name in the timber manufacturing industry for the recruitment of a Maintenance Engineer. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional to join a dynamic and growing team, working with state-of-the-art equipment in a highly automated production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform both reactive and proactive maintenance on production equipment to minimize downtime.
- Ensure routine maintenance schedules are completed on time and in accordance with safety standards.
- Fault find, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues on site equipment, including PLCs, servo drives, and line automation systems.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities, contributing to plant efficiency.
- Support the installation of new equipment and assist with production line overhauls.
- Complete work permits and ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and management.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Time-served, multi-skilled maintenance engineer
- 18th Edition wiring regulations ideally
- Strong experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of PLCs, robotics, and automation systems is desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts as required.
