The business has scaled up significantly over the last 2 years and they are now heavily investing in their technology team.
What will you be working on:
The role involves working closely with the R&D team and will focus on automating business processes. The business is looking for a Software Developer who has excellent leadership skills.
You will take the lead of the development team in new and exciting greenfield project work on a global scale. You will be given the opportunity to work on projects within Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning.
About you:
- You will be adaptable to change and be able to make technical decisions.
- Ideally you will have experience of leading a technical team or being a mentor.
- You will love problem solving and be passionate about delivering pragmatic solutions that make a real difference.
- Excellent clean coding skills
- Many years of experience delivering web application projects in a professional environment.
- You will love learning and implementing new technologies
Technical Background:
- Experience with one Object Orientated programming language – Java, C#, Python or PHP – you may consider yourself to be a polyglot developer
- Great communication skills and the ability to work with people across our business to design the best tools.
- Experience with JavaScript, ideally node.js
- SQL
- HMTL, CSS
- AWS – or similar cloud platform
Good to have:
- Experience leading a technical team
- Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence experience
- DynamoDB
