About the role:
You will manage an account base of existing customers with real potential to grow. This dynamic role requires someone who is comfortable operating at the highest level while staying close to operational delivery, ensuring clients receive the best solution that works for them and their business goals.
You will:
• Lead, retain and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts
• Build strong relationships with the senior stakeholders across logistics, operations, procurement and commercial teams
• Understand customer PAIN points and design tailored solutions that improve performance, resilience and cost efficiency
• Drive continuous improvement through data insights, KPI performance reviews and proactive optimisation initiatives
• Collaborate cross-functionally with planning, operations, carrier management, implementation and analytics teams to deliver outstanding service
• Ensure contractual compliance and commercial growth
About you:
You will be a commercially sharp, relationship-driven professional with a deep understanding of supply chain and logistics operations across multi modes.
You will thrive if you have:
• A deep understanding of logistics operations and technology solutions
• A proven track record of retaining and growing key accounts within the supply chain or logistics sector
• The ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at multiple levels
• Strong data literacy – confident interpreting KPI’s, forecasts, cost-to-serve and performance analytics
• A proactive and curious mindset for problems solving and continuous improvement
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills
• Experience managing multi-million-pound accounts and delivering measurable results
• A passion for operational excellence and customer happiness
