A brand-new role has arisen in a leading Scottish retailer and Ecommerce business. The business has achieved tremendous growth in the last 3 years, growing 380%, with this growth trajectory expected to continue. The home interiors retailer has a well-established, multi-million-pound ecommerce website which is consistently achieving growth. As such, there is need of a Junior SEO executive to collaborate with the ecommerce and marketing teams to maximise the visibility of the company and to project that positive and engaging message across all channels.

The Role:

As a Junior SEO Executive, you will be responsible for working alongside ecommerce and marketing to ensure all content is aligned, highly visible and optimised for each digital channel and some offline ones too. Along with the Ecommerce Manager, you will stategise the organic growth of the company ensuring it is maximised and aligned with branding guidelines. You must be confident, considered and engaging, with a real enthusiasm for your role that will resonate with customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and researching the content to be pushed to digital channels.
  • Reviewing the intent and journeys of customer through the digital channels.
  • Making data lead decisions to progress the ranking factors of digital channels.
  • Developing an outreach plan to maximise off channel digital ranking through backlinks.
  • Planning audits to close gaps in current digital channel strategy.
  • Keeping up to date with industry best practice methods to rank content on digital channels.

Requirements:

  • Experience of SEO in an ecommerce or agency environment.
  • Experience of using SEO audit tools and Analytics.
  • Knowledge of search engine algorithms and how changes affect ranking.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insight activity.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy when working with data.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially written.
  • Time management skills to manage your dynamic workload.
  • Ability to work as part of a small team and achieve group goals.
  • Analytical and numeracy skills.
