Key responsibilities:
- Working closely with a cross functional team of engineers, suppliers and business leaders to design and deliver a step-change solution for mental health.
- Specification, testing and improvement of IoT systems
- Develop custom software for data analysis and reporting
- Provide support to engineering teams for deployments and commissioning of IoT systems. Troubleshoot issues on-site
- Participate in the specification, development and maintenance of IoT cloud platform and IoT hardware and firmware
- Undertaking project work to develop new technology as required. Lead in the areas of IoT and electronics.

- Proven self-starter - can demonstrate designing and building your own systems
- A degree in an engineering, mechatronics or data science discipline is preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Experience of hardware/software integration and understanding of real-time systems.
- Understanding of digital electronics, IoT cloud, programmable logic devices and modelling languages and tools.
- A minimum of 3 years industry experience is preferred, including practical experience of electrical/electronic systems, troubleshooting
- Knowledge of programming in python and/or C#
- Knowledge of IoT protocols, cellular communications, wireless communications (Zigbee, Wi-Fi ...) and wired communication (RS232, RS485, Ethernet…) is desirable
