Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Manager with solid VMWare experience to manage a team of 3.
Job Description:
As the Infrastructure Manager role your main accountabilities will be to:
- Maintain a stable production environment, ensure capacity, scalability and currency of the platform, and drive operational and support improvements through in-depth knowledge of supported product capabilities and managed service operations
- Drive robust and timely remediation of high severity incidents to prevent the same or similar future occurrences
- Ensure all changes are production-ready, implemented successfully and that affected operations users are prepared for these changes
Your specific responsibilities will be to:
- Vendor management, including Service Reviews and SLA Management
- Owning Service Level Management for the hosted infrastructure environment
- Reviewing and analysing Service Requests
- Reviewing, improving and implementing ITIL workflows and processes
- Managing improvements to ServiceNow, including integrating other business departments into the platform
- Continually look for ways to improve the quality of the service provided and the efficiency
Experience Required:
- A strong understanding of current infrastructure trends e.g. Cloud, Virtualisation, Security
- Experience of virtualisation solution e.g. VMware, Hypervisor, etc
- Experience of storage solutions SAN, NAS, Cloud
