This is a new and exciting role which offers opportunity for someone to lead the Marketing team and create a marketing strategy to take the team to the next level.

The Head of Marketing will be responsible for establishing and implementing strategic and tactical communications plans designed to capitalise on marketing opportunities and generate demand. They will be responsible for building a creative, integrated multi-channel marketing department that builds brand awareness and reputation. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, resourceful, and have impeccable communication and leadership skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive and aligned strategic marketing plan
  • Implement strategic plan with assistance of project managers/stakeholders
  • Large focus on rebrand
  • Manage marketing budget for all staffing, resources and capital purchases
  • Event Management
  • Opportunity Generation
  • Liaise with lead party generators
  • Manage the creation of all marketing collateral and sales support tools
  • Be accountable for measuring and reporting on campaign results
  • Enhance customer relationship management processes and technologies
  • Execute integrated online/offline, search engine marketing, advertising, public relations, trade shows and other campaigns to generate demand and sales leads
  • Work directly with the Sales team to support their efforts
  • Develop a strategic decision making, prioritisation and governance process
  • Manage and motivate the marketing team
  • Identify areas for process improvement
  • Maintain knowledge of marketing trends, developments and best practices.

Job Requirements

  • Qualifications that relate to the role
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a marketing management position
  • Exceptional knowledge of marketing strategies, concepts and practices
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and work with senior level board members
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid business acumen, management and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer skills [systems include CRM & Office 365]
  • Effective time management, organisation and leadership skills.
