A rare opportunity has arisen for a Head of Digital and Ecommerce join an independent business with a global reach.
You will help shape the ecommerce strategy for the business moving forward defining the B2C vision and supporting the sales team. You will be working for an already established brand that is now looking to grow their online sales, which you will be vital in achieving.
This is the rare opportunity to build your own in house marketing team for a renowned brand, with a global presence. You will be the first member of this team and will manage agencies, but will begin to bring it all in-house and organically grow a team.
The business currently relies heavily on resellers, however is looking to heavily launch their existing and new brands on an ecommerce platform and target international markets.
This role would be a great fit for a Head of Digital who is still hands on with the tools, or someone looking for their first appointment in a Head of role.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 4 years strong ecommerce experience
- Experience in launching a new ecommerce platform
- Experience in channel management
- Proven track record in increasing web traffic, conversion and growing online sales
- A broad knowledge of digital marketing ranging from SEO/SEM, PPC, email and databases and organic and paid social media
- Strong skills in data analysis
- The ability to lead a team, and formulate a big budget marketing strategy

- A highly analytical mind, naturally formulating a strategy based upon number
- A natural leader, with he ability to grow and mentor others
- A self starter, who can create a road-map from scratch
- Strategy will be in your blood
- The ability to work alongside other departments in a large organisation
