The Role
As the Commercial Lead and Sales, you’ll take the lead in expanding the Company footprint with major Distillers worldwide, although with a particular focus on Europe. This is a senior leadership role where you’ll define the commercial strategy, drive growth, and help shape how the industry adopts game-changing maturation technology.
You will utilize your network and engage with large distilleries for pilot and commercial deployments of the technology.
Key responsibilities include:
- Sourcing and building relationships with distilleries across global markets
- Refining the customer messaging and value proposition
- Leading sales pitches, managing the pipeline, and negotiating deals
- Overseeing B2B marketing efforts, including tradeshows and strategic partnerships
- International travel to engage customers and represent the Company at industry events
The ideal person will have/be:
- Europe-based and comfortable with international travel
- Proven experience leading commercial initiatives/development and sales in the spirits industry with large operators
- Able to communicate effectively with distillers and industry stakeholders
- Comfortable with technical sales - curious, inquisitive, and eager to deeply understand new technology
- A understanding of spirit maturation and production economics, with an ability to discuss this with large operators
- Experience managing and growing a sales team is a plus
- A startup mindset - resilient, adaptable, and excited by the hustle of early-stage growth
