Nine Twenty are delighted to be recruiting for an e-commerce manufacturing business who are on the search for an experienced and creative Graphic Designer to join their team on a weekly basis. 

The Role

You will provide graphic design support for the origination of artwork for pattern books, brochures, banners, posters, leaflets, packaging plus any other Marketing materials both on and offline.

Other responsibilities include supporting the Brand Manager, Marketing Department and the other departments with the creation of any visual communications and marketing materials that will be distributed both internally and externally.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver innovative and effective visual media solutions both on and offline.
  • Create print ready artwork for: fabric pattern books, packaging, flyers, banners, brochures, price catalogues, exhibition panels & stands plus other POS items as required.
  • Proof check all items for print and remedy any pre-press artwork issues.
  • Create print specs for projects and liaise with Marketing Secretary and external suppliers to ensure cost effectiveness.
  • Maintain library of all imagery for print and web use.
  • Have a keen interest in current and upcoming trends both with design and technology to keep designs and their presentation style relevant.
  • Liaise with relevant departments to effectively communicate new product lines to both the trade and consumer markets.
  • Product and in-house photography for using throughout marketing materials.
  • Support both Brand and Marketing Managers as the business requires.
  • Be adaptable and open to learning new skills in line with business requirements.

 

Must Haves

  • A Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent qualification
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a marketing or similar environment

 

Essential Skills

  • Exceptional work ethic and the ability to thrive in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Well organised and conscientious approach to all tasks.
  • Well experienced in creating print specs and sourcing cost effective print solutions.
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite with particularly strong skills in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
  • Experienced in catalogue design and art working data layouts from Excel
  • Solid knowledge of Word, Excel, and Acrobat
  • A keen eye for detail alongside strong concept and design skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively

with people at all levels.

  • Fully experienced in working with Macs.

In order to be considered for this role it is essential that the successful candidate must have both online and offline experience as the client requires support ranging from the design of leaflets to supporting online marketing efforts.
