Due to continued success our good friends are on the hunt for a truly talented Graduate Software Engineer to join their busy development team. 

If you have experience gained from working in PHP projects in university, you would be a more natural fit to this organisation. 

We want to speak to tech savvy graduates, who have strong knowledge of OOP

Responsibilities & Duties:

As a Graduate Software Engineer, you will be involved in projects during a number of stages in their life cycle. Your key responsibilities & duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Undertaking code reviews, and providing evaluation and feedback on the production of work.
  • Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP packages.
  • Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
  • Integration of data storage solutions.
  • Attending project retrospectives and contributing as appropriate.
  • Team player - You’re able to work effectively in team.
  • Take ownership of development of core platforms and systems.
  • Work with the business to maintain scale and develop new features and functions across platforms.
  • Input ideas in early stage project scoping whilst being free to contribute to improvement of platforms.

Technical Stack:

  • PHP
  • Laravel or any MVC framework.
  • An understanding of big data and associated database challenges.
  • Consuming and developing REST APIs.
  • SCSS/CSS and HTML development experience.
  • VueJS, GULP, Webpack.
  • Mobile
  • Social platform API’s.
  • Kannel & SMPP.
  • AWS infrastructure.
  • Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment.
