As the Front-End Engineer you will have a broad understanding of the technologies which make up an application. 

You will be involved in projects during a number of stages in their life cycle. 

The role: 

  • Working with senior technical staff to choose architecture and most appropriate technologies for the project.
  • Undertaking code reviews, and providing evaluation and feedback on the production of work.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability
  •  Attending project retrospectives and contributing as appropriate.
  •  Create quality mockups and prototypes
Essential experience:
  • Minimum 4 years experience as a Front end Engineer
  • HTML 5 and CSS3
  • CSS pre processors such as SCSS/LESS
  • Proven experience using a modern front-end framework/library (React, VueJS,
  • Angular or Ember), preferably VueJS.
  • Experience with front-end build systems (Webpack, Gulp or Grunt).
  • Working knowledge of npm/Yarn.
  • Mobile focused.
  • Social platform API’s
  • Familiarity with software like Photoshop, Sketch and content management 
  • Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
  •  In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design,development and deployment)
