JAC Vapour is a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial, young business currently looking for a Finance Manager to join the team in their Leith Head Office.

Operating globally, JAC Vapour is firmly established as one of the most reputable and high quality e-cigarette manufacturers and retailers in the industry and a market leader in terms of quality, safety, technology and industry innovation.  The firm is the only vape hous in Western Europe to engineer and design their own vape devices / hardware, giving them a competitive edge over other players in the industry.

JAC Vapour operates in a specialist market and has a reputation for providing quality and bespoke products to a discerning, and loyal, client base.

As the business continues to grow we are now looking to appoint a Finance Manager responsible for the efforts, results, and success of our organisation's finance department helping to establish the brand as a national and global leader.

You will work autonomously where you will have overall responsibility for the day to day finance function.

Job Duties:

  • Oversee, review, and adhere to the budgets for each business department
  • Assist in company-wide budgetary planning and forecasting on a quarterly basis
  • Ensure that all of the company's financial practices are in line in statutory regulations and legislation
  • Analyse the financial climate and market trends to assist senior executives in creating strategic plans for the future both globally and domestically, including pricing strategy
  • Interpret complex financial information and provide updates and information as needed
  • Monitor cash flow, P+L, accounts, and other financial transactions to ensure business objectives are met
  • Prepare official reports on a monthly and annual basis
  • Seek out methods and practices to minimise financial risk and improve cost savings
  • Ensure financial monitoring is up-to-date
  • Update and implement financial policies and procedures
  • Ensure all payment processes are adhered to
  • Ensure Stock Control is managed and implemented effectively

Holidays:

  • 35 days holiday per year (1st Jan – 31st Dec):
  • 26 days - standard holidays
  • 6 Bank Holidays added to overall holiday allowance, to be taken at any time of the year.
  • 3 compulsory Bank Holidays (that MUST be taken on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day)
