Nine Twenty are working with our long standing, prestigious Scottish Manufacturing client who are looking for an Engineering Team Leader who can bring strong leadership capabilities into a busy and fast-moving manufacturing environment.
You will come from any fast moving manufacturing industry and bring with you a strong continuous improvement mindset, a drive for results whilst embedding a Health & Safety culture across your teams. You will have the autonomy to work within a varied role within an open & honest culture, delivering results whist ensuring work is prioritised effectively .
You will report to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager and have key relationships with the Engineering Team, Production & Health & Safety Wellbeing Advisors. You will work alongside the maintenance engineers and respond quickly to operational maintenance requirements including installations, planned & reactive maintenance whilst coaching & mentoring the team.
Skills required:
- Time served or degree qualified Engineer with experience working within a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Experience of using a Maintenance Planning system
- Strong Health & Safety Awareness
- Strong communications skills with the ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders
- You will have the ability to be a role model to your team and will take the lead to promote & live the companies values
- You will have strong leadership capabilities and you will personally develop yourself whilst developing, empowering, influencing & motivating your team
- You will have the ability to create a positive vision that inspires your team
- You will have strong continuous improvement capabilities whilst the ability to manage change
- You will ensure you and your teams and delivering & achieving targets
- You will have strong problem solving capabilities
