As an Engineering Planner you will deliver a planned preventative maintenance program to our client's site. You will plan and implement a maintenance program that will deliver efficiency and reliability across various manufacturing kit throughout the site. You will be responsible to coordinate contractor visits to site and work in conjunction with the production planning department to ensure availability of kit.
Responsibilities:
- Plan preventative maintenance of all factory & plant equipment across the site
- Distribute maintenance plan to PM technicians
- Regularly liaise with production planning department
- Kitting of PM parts kits ready for planned works completion
- Manage the engineering database
- Maintain engineering systems and documentation to BRC standards
- Plan and coordinate major outages for service works
- Review breakdowns and analyze detail to decide content of preventative maintenance work instructions
Experience and Qualifications:
- Apprenticeship or time served or a formal engineering qualification
- Good knowledge of Mechanical/Electrical engineering
- Previous experience in an Engineering Planning role
- Experience in CMMS systems
- Working knowledge of H&S Regulations
- Experience within a food manufacturing environment would be an advantage
