A brand new role has arisen in a leading Scottish retailer and Ecommerce business. The business has achieved tremendous growth in the last 3 years, growing 380%, with this growth trajectory expected to continue.

The Role:

An Email Marketing Specialist role has become available in a market-leading business to takes pride in creating strong and long-lasting digital relationships with its customer through the use of email marketing. This Email Marketer will be able to segment and maximize customer engagement and value to take current marketing practices to the next level within a period of steep growth and expansion. With an accelerated shift towards digital consumer behavior in recent years, this individual will be deeply experienced in all aspects of email marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the end-to-end execution of all email marketing, ensuring all email campaigns are delivered on time and error-free, and regularly reviewing processes to ensure efficiency is optimized.
  • Designing and managing regular B2C & B2B email marketing campaigns.
  • Target customers effectively and creatively by using demographic, personal, and behavioral data.
  • Carrying out segmentation of the database and implementing personalized remarketing strategies.
  • Ensuring all email campaigns comply with current email best practices in the industry.
  • Closely monitoring email segments, continuously track KPIs to identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and reduce churn.
  • Provide reports, insight, and recommendations on email performance to guide improvement.
  • The ability to make data-informed improvements and justify the decisions you make.
  • Full ownership of the email customer journey, identifying quick wins, and implementing these changes to drive retention and revenue for the business, whilst understanding a customer’s value by channel.

Requirements:

  • You will be commercially minded and driven, as well as highly analytical with the ability to translate data into actionable insight.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy when working with data
  • Excellent written communication, copywriting, and proofreading skills.
  • Understanding of digital marketing and its impact on the marketing funnel.
  • Ability to segment data based on similarities.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience with email marketing software.
  • Proven experience within a similar role in a product-based B2C & B2B environment at an agency or client-side.
  • Strategic planner with end-to-end approach with email marketing.
  • Experience in nurturing and growing email databases.
  • A Can-Do attitude
