Nine Twenty's Bonnybridge based client is recruiting for an Electrical Shift Maintenance Technician.  This post will report to the Lead Shift Technician, this role involves preventative and breakdown maintenance work; repairing a wide variety of machines and process equipment whilst working within set safety parameters and permit procedures.  

Skills/ Experience Required

  • Electrical engineering qualification (HNC or equivalent) with a minimum of 4 years recognised apprenticeship and experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Good understanding of current IEE regulations
  • Demonstrable experience of maintaining and troubleshooting PLC systems (Siemens & Allen Bradley) including SCADA / Visualisation systems
  • Extensive knowledge of motor controls, process control loops and VSD’s
  • Knowledge of combustion burners, kilns and furnaces is advantageous
  • Proficient at reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings
  • Experienced and proficient at installing, troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment
  • Good knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems
  • Demonstrable knowledge of fault-finding techniques
  • Familiar working with PM, CMMS, TPM and LOTO systems
  • Computer literate in the use of MS office
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Clear understanding of health, safety and environmental issues
  • Flexibility and teamwork is essential
  • Work on one’s own initiative, unsupervised and have the ability to make critical decisions

Applicants must be willing to work shifts, work overtime and provide weekend standby cover if required.
