An exciting opportunity for an experienced electrical project engineer to join a team of discipline experts in a Global Manufacturing organisation who run multiple exciting projects at any one time and are always moving forward in their ambitious plans to improve, grow and develop their business.
This is a role where you will have autonomy to make decisions in your expert area and to suggest new and better ways of working, to be involved in some really interested and varied projects and to expand your knowledge in their specialist areas as you become more experienced in the business.
The projects can range from a small installation to the upgrade of the HV infrastructure so you much be comfortable in your electrical knowledge when it comes to making decisions on electrical design principles, be able to demonstrate which tools and techniques to use when approaching a project, be able to manage budgets, negotiate and collaborate as well as work to tight deadlines and sometimes under pressure.
To be successful for this position, you should have/be:
- Degree qualified in electrical engineering (although time served with relevant experience will be considered)
- Have extensive experience in managing electrical projects from start to finish
- Have experience in HV transformers
- Have experience in LV networks
- Fluent in computerised network systems to become the network custodian.
