An excellent opportunity to join a worldwide manufacturing organisation as EHS Advisor. This role will cover 3 Distilleries in the Moray area and you will provide on-the-ground health and safety support to distillery managers across all operations. Your role will involve tasks such as conducting risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment, monitoring compliance with health and safety regulations, and analysing data to identify areas for improvement in EHS practices.

Responsibilities: .
- Support operational & brand homeplace teams in ensuring that the sites comply with all current Health Safety & Environment legislation whilst at the same time developing and implementing a culture of ‘best practice’ & continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance to area managers & Front line leaders towards the implementation of safety improvements
- Participate & deliver relevant EHS training initiatives and present them to appropriate personnel as part of competence assurance programmes.
- Ensure that risks are identified using the appropriate risk assessment process and managed so that suitable levels of control & review exist.
- Ensure all incidents are investigated, recorded and appropriate action taken to prevent recurrence.
- Analyse and categorise all EHS data & record EHS KPI’s , including leading indicators.
Key skills/experience required:
- Ideally hold a NEBOSH General certificate or IOSH or similar
- Knowledge of current health and safety/environmental compliance
- Experience in an EHS related role , preferably within a manufacturing environment but we would consider other industries
- Excellent communication skills & the ability to influence people
- Ability to work on own initiative and possess strong interpersonal skills
