We are delighted to be representing our client in the search for an ambitious and driven Marketing Strategist. The Marketing Strategist will lead a talented marketing team in developing; implementing; tracking and refining their brand and marketing campaigns across all countries and digital channels.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing Strategist to join our client’s growing inhouse team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong track record in leading an ambitious and driven marketing team in developing; implementing; tracking and refining our brand and marketing campaigns across all countries and digital channels. They will also be responsible for the overseeing of all E2E Marketing activities and setting specific objectives to develop a cohesive and profitable marketing strategy for our client’s business. This role also involves the management of the marketing budget in order to achieve overall sales objectives in addition to reporting the ROI of various campaigns and strategies.

 

Essential Attributes

  • BA or BSc degree in Marketing or a related discipline.
  • 8-10 years leadership experience of E2E Marketing activities.
  • Enterprising and entrepreneurial and have a hunger to stretch your creativity and technical abilities to make a real impact on a growing business.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
  • Expert in the internet and social media strategy with a demonstrated track record on Facebook; Twitter; LinkedIn; Instagram; Snapchat and other social media outlets that are significant in our company’s outreach.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools, i.e. Google Analytics; Net Insight; Omniture and Web Trends.
  • Academic thinker, creative problem solver.
  • Experienced handling multiplies responsibilities and setting priorities.
  • To have a strong knowledge of the different tools in digital marketing and more importantly, have the capabilities of forming, developing and implementing a digital marketing strategy.
  • To have advanced excel skills and to be comfortable with pivot tables, vlookup, and functions.

  • To have a flair for innovation and creative marketing thinking.
  • To have exceptional analytical skills and to be data and data insights driven.
  • To be enterprising, self-motivated, highlight ambitious, with strong organisational skills.
  • Keeps up to date with the latest digital advertising best practice, tactics, latest formats and channels. Proactively recommend how to incorporate these into our client’s own tests.
  • Excellent organisational skills and to be able to work smart and remain calm under pressure.
  • To embrace collaboration and have a team orientated.
  • Excellent communication and written skills.
  • A cracking sense of humour!
  • You have a zest for life, seeking new opportunities and don’t mind taking the bumpy road sometimes to get where you want to be.

Desirable Attributes 

  • Google Ads and/or Facebook Blueprint certification. 
  • Experience with data visualisation or dashboard tools (Google Data Studio, Power BI or Tableau).
