The last year has seen businesses adapt and innovate their existing services. A new role has arisen with a large countrywide hospitality group that has created a new product offering and E-Commerce function, which is set to be a key component in the future of the group.

This is a new and exciting opportunity for an E-Commerce Trading Manager..  You will be a key part of a rapidly growing business and will be responsible for the management of the end-to-end E-Commerce operation.  You will have responsibility for all aspects of the E-Commerce operation from driving sales to customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience of driving E-Commerce growth at a senior level and will be comfortable building relationships with key stakeholders across the wider business including marketing, business development, finance, and operations.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for the full E-Commerce P&L to ensure revenue, cost and contribution budgets meet and exceed targets.
  • Setting strategy and road map for growth of the E-Commerce operation.
  • Managing the day to day trading of the website to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Driving key KPIs for the business across the website, fulfilment warehouse and customer service.
  • Develop strategy for targeted E-Commerce campaigns aimed at driving traffic to the website. 
  • Responsible for continued improvement of the online customer journey through CRO and UX techniques.
  • Support the build of a customer database to encourage repeat purchases and identify cross-selling opportunities across the group portfolio.
  • Management of the supporting partnerships with agencies, software companies, couriers and packaging experts.
  • Liaise with marketing department to ensure consistency of message and tone of voice in all promotional efforts.
  • Analysing data reporting from website, warehouse, customer service and customers to drive increased performance.
  • Benchmarking against other relevant offerings to ensure best practice and business improvement roadmap.
  • Promote the DRG brands externally in a consistent and effective manner.

Skills and experience required

  • Strong leadership skills with experience of managing multi disciplined teams
  • Strong influencer with the ability to build relationships quickly and work collaboratively
  • Experience in delivering results from digital marketing activity (PPC, SEO, Affiliates etc) - whilst you must have knowledge in this area, a digital team is on hand to assist with the day-to-day of this activity.
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality and multi channel retail
  • Good numerical and analytical skills
