A rare opportunity has arisen with an interiors brand based in Glasgow, with an exceptional reputation in creating high-quality fabric and furnishings since 1998. This role will sit in the heart of the talented E-commerce team. 

The business currently has several trading B2C website platforms, and this role will report to the Head of Ecommerce and work in a team of 8 People in the E-Commerce department. This role is for an experienced Ecommerce Executive to join the growing team.


Responsibilities:

  • Monitor web traffic statistics, sales, and ROI. Generate reports to highlight key information and formulate plans for change.
  • Reporting to eCommerce Manager and Directors on regular basis.
  • Merchandising of products in an attractive way whilst ensuring products are easy to find and maximise sales opportunities.
  • Support and develop SEO knowledge and best practice principles across the wider E-Commerce and Marketing team.
  • Working with planning and purchasing teams to coordinate stock allocation and assist in the development of stock integration and replenishment.
  • Building and merchandising relevant categories based on current campaign activity and stock availability.
  • Collaborate with the social and content team to ensure consistent message and imagery across the site and organic social posts.
  • And any other duties commensurate with the level of this post as requested by the line manager.

Requirements:

  • Ecommerce platform experience is essential.
  • Excel experience is preferred.
  • Understanding of website analysis through Google Analytics.
  • Excellent copywriting and proofing skills.
  • Understanding of the relationship between Digital & SEO.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to tight deadlines.
  • Creative – able to develop and pitch campaign & promo ideas.
  • Excellent communication and ability to liaise with internal departments effectively.
  • Ability to work within a team and independently.
  • A passion for Interior and textiles would be an advantage.
  • Photoshop/Canva experience preferred.
