Electrical and Instrument Planner

They have successfully designed and delivered specialist systems to operate in some of the most extreme environments within the global subsea, intervention and onshore markets. 

The role:

As Electrical and Instrument Planner your role will involve planning inspection and maintenance activities, as well as remedial works, in addition to arranging permits to-work, work packs and access to equipment at height.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for planning of hazardous area E&I equipment inspections.
  • Manage and schedule remedial works within the designated timeframes.
  • Assist and comply with permit to work and isolation systems.
  • Prepare work packs with the relevant technical information to enable technicians to complete their inspection and remedial activities.
  • Ensure quality management system and design procedures are followed and standards are maintained.
  • Detailed completion of project close out reports, documentation and certification (signed, dated and identified correctly for invoicing and for inclusion within certification books) and timely submission to the supervisor or engineer.

Experience and Skills:

  • Engineering qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • Industrial experience
  • Experience in a planning environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to the demands of a high and varied workload
