Nine Twenty Engineering & Manufacturing are delighted to be working exclusively with Whyte & Mackay in their need for a Distillery Manager to join their Tamnavullin Distillery, Ballindalloch.
You will be responsible to be the leadership of the Tamnavulin Distillery, working with areas such as Health & Safety, Customs & Excise, Quality, Risk, process support and brand representation.
We need an ambitious leader who is resilient, enthusiastic and optimistic and who is driven to achieve goals.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading & Motivating Tamnavulin Team as a whole - 11 employee's
- Be an ambassador for the distillery
- Maintenance Management - collaboration with the Engineering Manager
- Overseeing multiple projects
- Working to targets and KPI'S
- Managing budgets
- Provide full support to the Health & Safety Manager ensuring the staff and site culture holds a safe working environment
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge:
- IOSH or NEBOSH trained
- Excellent, people and management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
- Experience in a scientific or engineering discipline along with experience in Distilling & Warehousing
- GCD in Distilling through the IBD, Diploma would be desirable
- Knowledge of Health & Safety in all areas of Malt Distillery
- Proficient in the process of Distillery and Warehouse Operations
- Awareness of HMRC regulations
- ERP experience - preferably DRAMS/TROPOS
- Working to a Continuous Improvement culture & Project Management skills
