Distillery Manager

Nine Twenty are delighted to be supporting our well known and well established Distilling client in their need for a Distillery Manager to join their Distillery site based in Elgin - reporting to the Head of Distillery Operations.
A super exciting time to join this business who are planning & investing in large expansion projects so this an opportunity for the successful candidate to put their stamp on this role and really make it their own. You will have strong technical knowledge in Distillation being key but ultimately you will be a strong leader who can come in and hit the ground running and takeover Leadership, Direction & Support of the Distillery and teams.
Responsibilities are but not limited to:
- Hands on Leadership & Direction of Site Operations team
- Support & development of people
- Responsible for the Continuous Improvement of Site Operations
- Responsible for COMAH and managing risk
- Delivery of the site strategic 5 year capital plan
Requirements:
- Strong Leadership experience & techniques with the ability to influence and drive performance
- Ideally some engineering knowledge & experience
- Experience in Project Management
- Strong experience & knowledge in Distillation - previous Distillery Manager ideally
