A digital agency in Edinburgh are looking for a Digital Strategist to join their talented team. In this key role, you will take a senior role within the agency, look at the wider picture and help a portfolio of clients on account strategy at a top-level view.

The independent agency works with a variety of cool brands across Europe, Australia and North America. It’s a fast-growing business where the team is put first.

This role would be great for someone who has experience in delivering client strategy or perhaps has been working a hands-on digital marketing role and wants to take a step up and focus on strategy and the bigger picture.

 

The Role;

  • In this key role, you will be able to see the wider picture of how digital marketing campaigns they’re running contribute to a client's overall digital performance and communicate this back to the account team and client
  • You will lead and take a top-level view on client accounts taking things all the way from inception through to execution and analysis. You will advise on strategy every step of the way and make sure the client gets the best out of their campaigns
  • You will be able to advise where budgets should be spent to help the client achieve their core business objective
  • You will be working directly with a team of Specialists & Executives to help ensure this strategy is delivered
  • You will work closely with the senior management team to increase profitability and help grow the agency

Requirements;

  • 3 or more years in a digital role preferably agency side in a client focused role
  • Experience delivering strategy on digital campaigns such as Google Ads and Facebook Ads campaigns for brands would be preferred
  • You will be passionate about the ever-changing world of digital with a natural enthusiasm and desire to learn
  • Strong data analysis skills, ability to look at the data and strategises how a campaign could be better
  • Ability to manage a project and delegate tasks to other members of the team
  • Confident in meetings and presenting your findings internally or to clients
  • An ability to think independently, be proactive in client relationships, not just answer their questions
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organisation
  • A positive, upbeat attitude to your work
  • Fluent English speaker with excellent verbal and written communication skills
