A newly created role has arisen with a healthcare business for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager. The business is one of the fastest growing online healthcare businesses in its area. The business is building its in-house digital marketing team, this will be the first senior digital role within the business and a key appointment.

The business believes that high-quality care should be accessible and convenient. The Digital Marketing Manager will work alongside Directors, Pharmacists, Dispensers and Customer Service Agents where they will be part of a wider team whose vision is to ultimately improve their patient’s health.

This is a particularly exciting role as the successful specialist will be one of the first appointments in the business, and thus could even progress into a ‘Head Of’ role if they desire to.

The role will be hybrid with their modern office based in the southside of Glasgow.

 

The Role:

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for digital marketing strategy and campaigns. They will have full autonomy over this area and report to the directors.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating, analysing, and scaling PPC and Shopping campaigns
  • Day to day campaign management of paid search and shopping accounts across mainly Google but also Bing search engines to constantly achieve agreed KPIs and maximise conversions within target on ad spend
  • Ensure PPC and Google shopping campaigns are optimised according to best practice guidelines wherever possible, proactively look at new ways to automate and optimise the account performance
  • Work with 3rd party Google shopping feed provider e.g. Product Hero and manage shopping accounts profitably
  • Strong technical, on-page and off-page SEO knowledge with an ethical and innovative approach to link building
  • Sound knowledge of local search optimisation
  • Knowledge of the latest algorithmic updates by major search engines and how they impact SEO
  • Experience in conducting keyword research
  • Perform regular keyword research, preparation and analysis
  • Perform ongoing competitor analysis & reporting
  • Provide regular performance updates to key stakeholders
  • Keep up to date with industry developments

Requirements:

  • Having a passion for PPC, SEO and digital marketing in general
  • Experience in delivering ROAS, ROI and other relevant metrics
  • Having extensive bid and feed management experience
  • Experience using Google Analytics, Search Console etc
  • Proven track record in driving successful digital marketing campaigns
  • Strong experience of Google Adwords platform
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy and self-motivation
  • Great time management and getting things delivered
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Strong reporting skills
