A brand new role has been created in one of the leading sports digital marketing agencies in the UK and Brazil. Founded in 2014, the company now employs 24+ people across two continents, with revenues growing year on year and ambitious growth plans ahead that you would get the opportunity to be instrumental in.

They are seeking an energetic, smart and very driven individual to join the team and assist in developing the digital strategy of one of the key brands.

The team is distributed remotely as part of a 'remote first' culture. They attract people who push themselves to improve in order to unlock their potential. The business grew during the pandemic, and shows no signs of slowing down.

 

The Role:

The business has undergone fast global growth and are now looking for someone who can help lead, shape, and optimise digital strategy as they continue to scale. Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for creating and implementing the overall brand strategy, short term, medium-term and long term.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the brand, ensuring they are aligned to strategy and that the brand's values are maintained.
  • Manage a small team of digital marketing executives, including but not limited to, developing existing talent with a staff training budget, organising and hosting staff appraisals, identifying new talent to recruit, onboarding new staff.
  • Manage relationships with commercial partners and proactively seek new commercial opportunities.
  • Regular reporting on brand performance, including but not limited to, commercial results, paid campaigns, social media, and web analytics.

Requirements:

  • 3 years+ in a digital marketing role, with strong experience in social.
  • A passion for football and sports would be a bonus.
  • Specific experience running creating and optimising paid ad campaigns using Facebook Ad Manager and working with Paid Media.
  • Specific experience using web and social analytic tools.
  • A strong understanding of the digital marketing mix, and the leading on the strategy of this.
  • Personable and able to lead by example as a senior member of staff.
  • Excellent organisational skills and a professional attitude.
  • Innovative and creative thinker with good problem-solving ability.
  • Acute attention to detail.
