As we grow quickly and we have many local initiatives, brand activations and new restaurant openings happening, we need a enthusiastic and dynamic Marketing Executive to come and strengthen the marketing team. Role Purpose

To lead, as an important member of the marketing team, in the creation, implementation, execution and evaluation of local restaurant marketing initiatives. Being part of the marketing team you will be instrumental elevating and developing local restaurant marketing strategy, defining ideas to build brand image, drive brand awareness and increase footfall and transactions. Through engagement with the consumer you will creating opportunities for trial of the product on a local level. You will drive relevance of the GDK venue through tailored messaging, amplification of occasion campaigns and activating the right big moments in the region. Working in conjunction with Operations team to showcase support and set goals to build regional support and drive sales.

In your role you will have the following specific accountabilities and ownership:

  • General support for the Marketing team across all functions which including PR activation, events, social media and database development.
  • Assisting Senior Marketing team with tactical responsibilities leading up to, during, and after each campaign, including pricing analysis, local PR strategy execution, channel updates and reporting.
  • Implementation of all promotional offers on EPOS system and sales channels.
  • Managing and executing influencer marketing strategy from talent selection to restaurant visits.
  • Updating and managing app and website with relevant campaign details.
  • Working with social media agency to develop organic social media calendar to foster organic channel growth.
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and providing weekly reports.
  • Ensuring press material, image library, third-party websites (delivery partners) etc. are updated and accurate.
  • Leading strategy and plans for ‘always-on’ promotional offers (Student and Blue Light discounts)
  • Coordinating email marketing communications to database subscribers.
  • Competitor analysis.

Skills and Experience

Overall

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of working experience of which 2-3 years in marketing
  • Strong understanding of the social marketing space (organic & paid)
  • Experience in working with and managing agencies
  • Experience in writing briefs
  • Running campaign activation and evaluations incl. coming up with recommendations
  • Foodservice/restaurant/hospitality experience preferred.
  • Field sales experience foodservice / hospitality is bonus
  • Strong communication and organisational skills are important in this role given there are many internal and external stakeholders involved to manage.
  • Experience in working within a team and with multi-discipline workflow.
