A brand new Digital Marketing Executive role has been created for an events production business based in Glasgow.  The business creates and produces unique events across the globe for multiple exciting clients, and has seen excellent growth in recent years.

The role:

This role primarily focuses on creating and running paid and organic social media campaigns with the aim of increasing the visibility of these events, ultimately driving growth within the business. The role will also have the scope to be an all-rounder in digital, managing content creation, email marketing, and more. This individual would be reporting to the Head of Digital as part of the wider marketing team. This role would be based in Glasgow with hybrid working, liaising with members of the team who are based there and all around the globe. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Creating and managing paid and organic social media campaigns.
  • Work with 3rd parties on additional content to promote the events and brand(s).
  • Aid with copywriting that matches the brand’s tone of voice.
  • Email and other digital campaigns.
  • Fan and community engagement campaigns.
  • Regular reporting on marketing activities.

Requirements:

  • 1 year + of experience working on social media campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of social media, specifically best practices and up-to-date trends.
  • Be able to work with a high level of autonomy and able to manage your own workload.
  • Being results-driven with an eye for detail.

Non-Essential:

  • Experience with paid social media campaigns using relevant software e.g. Facebook business manager etc.
  • Relevant qualifications in social media, marketing etc.
  • An understanding of photo/video editing software for content creation.

Package on Offer:

  • Salary up to £30,000 DOE.
