DevOps/Security Engineer
The successful candidate will be expected to have demonstrable experience working with the AWS platform, specifically:
- Deploying applications via automated containerized means - e.g. EKS / ECS / Fargate / Native Kubernetes etc. Including best practices around where and how these should be deployed on a cloud environment - e.g. VPC / Route 53 / API Gateway etc.
- Securing highly sensitive data hosted on the cloud - using techniques such as key rotation policies / ACLʼs / IAM / GuardDuty / NatGateway / WAF / Secrets Manager.
- Strong knowledge of build pipelines for both front and back end applications, experience in automating them on cloud platforms using tools such as CodeDeploy / CodeBuild / Jenkins etc.
- Automating cloud assets would be beneficial (using tools such as Terraform / Ansible / Cloud Formation).
- Experience in monitoring and managing production applications at scale e.g. CloudWatch / CloudTrail / Splunk etc.
Also looking for:
- Strong networking experience Virtualisation DHCP, NPS and AD server management
- Strong bash/python experience
- Knowledge of the SDLC via previous development experience
Nice to have:
- Experience on other cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, GCP)
