Nine Twenty Recruitment are working with their FMCG Manufacturing client who are looking for experienced mechanical engineers. You will join a fast moving Manufacturing environment where reactive, preventative & planned maintenance activities will be key whilst being involved in continuous improvement projects.
The role:
- Maintain and repair all production and process manufacturing equipment
- To undertake tasks in line with maintenance requisition requests
- To conduct PPM (planned preventative maintenance) tasks as required
- To prioritise workload in liaison with Engineering Manager, to provide the most effective maintenance service possible thus maximising production output
- Ensure area of responsibility housekeeping is of a high standard
- Complete engineering projects as assigned by management
- Ensure that all Quality Systems are followed
Skills required:
- HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience ideally gained within FMCG manufacturing environment however other industries would be considered
- Ability to work independently and safely with minimal guidance
