Database Administrator
Cumbernauld (Hybrid – 3 days per week in office)
The Role
In our Data & Integration team, the Database Analyst will proactively provide technical support, monitoring and enhancements to the core business databases that run key applications and reporting across the GTS estate on a global scale.
Responsibilities
You will have the opportunity to make a real difference to the company by designing and improving Business Intelligence Service delivery, through identifying growth patterns, trends in data and capacity planning. Working closely with a range of key stakeholders, you will be able to ensure that best practices are used across various functions. In addition to this, you will have the opportunity to provide 2nd and 3rd level support to databases, taking ownership and control of issues to resolution in an efficient, timely manner.
Requirements
With a proven background in a similar role, you will be experienced in Microsoft SQL Servers. In addition to this, you will be able to provide 2nd and 3rd level support to databases, as well as, have prior experience in Data Security and High Availability Databases.
