As a D365 Consulting Manager you will be leading a dynamic and growing team of consultants responsible for the design and delivery of successful Business Central upgrades and new implementations to SME customers throughout the UK. We work with a wide range of customers in a variety of industries spanning the Financial and Service sectors to Logistics, Manufacturing and Care. We also have our specialist in house applications for the Construction, Timber and Housing industries.

As a manager you will have strong leadership skills and be comfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels across the business and externally to our customer base providing discovery and analysis workshops through all stages of project delivery and transition to our support desk. Our projects differ in size and complexity so our consultants often work as part of a larger project team with a Solutions Architect whereas on smaller projects they can be the sole consultant leading the project.

As a manager the need to be adept at evaluating the latest technologies, software releases and add ons is crucial, so the desire for ongoing learning and self-development and training are key for the role and a priority. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a team of consultants
  • Responsible for utilisation and revenue targets
  • Product demonstrations to existing customer and new prospects with our sales team
  • Discovery workshops with the customer to identify core requirements, customisation and potential gaps and solution and documenting the outcome of these sessions with deliverables
  • Advise on resource, budget & timescales to achieve required outcomes and deliverables
  • Setup and configure processes within Business Central to meet customer requirements
  • Design and document customer specific customisations for our development team.
  • Working with the development team to ensure customisations meet requirements
  • Plan and complete data migrations
  • Train the key users / end users
  • Support key users completing User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Prepare, complete and support Go Live
  • Transitions to support 

What do I need?

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with D365 Business Central in a reseller environment
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience of managing teams
  • Strong consultancy skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
  • Excellent Communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-Motivated and driven, ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Focus on Customer service
  • Sound understanding of Finance
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Jet Reporting, Continia, Tasklet Factory
  • Previous experience of the construction industry would be beneficial
